Halcyon's Drifter takes the offset silhouette somewhere new: a lightweight okoume body, a pair of wide-bobbin soapbar pickups, and a floating trem that stays in tune no matter how hard you lean on it. The Sonic Blue finish is color-matched to a 1963 paint chip the founder keeps framed above her bench.
Clean, it shimmers. Driven, it gets raw and vocal in a way that cuts through any mix. The Drifter is the shop's best seller, and this one — with a pau ferro board and matching painted headstock — is a particularly good example.
