The Bluebird '52 is Thornwood's love letter to the golden era of the single-cutaway workhorse. A featherweight swamp ash body wears a translucent butterscotch finish that shows off every inch of grain. The bridge pickup is wound hot enough to snarl; the neck pickup stays warm and round for jazz and rhythm work.
Thornwood ages every one of these in-house — lightly checked lacquer, softened edges, hardware with just enough patina to feel like an old friend. Includes a tweed hardshell case and the original build sheet signed by the luthier.
